Yes I am still alive. My running has been dead though. No good reasons, just one bad excuse after another: my back was hurting when I ran, so I backed off for a few days; then I got a nasty cough/head cold/flu/allergy thingy that still hasn't completely gone away; then we went on vacation and I didn't make time to run, and on and on and on.....
So, I am trying to work my way back into the groove. It is absolutely amazing and scary to me how easy it is to fall out of routine. For me, one day, became one week, then one month in a flash. I still have the desire/want/need to run, bike and get in shape. I'm just fighting the demons that seem to always keep me from doing those things.
Still reading everyones' posts though for inspiration. Keep up the good work. I hope to post some workout details from the weekend on Monday.
Happy Running!

I've fallen off the wagon before, too. Just start back slow. Keep it simple. You'll be back before ya know it. Good luck.
cool man. keep at it, you'll be back in the high miles before you know it.
yes its so easy to do... just lace up those shoes and get out there for a quick run, just set a goal of a mile. you will be back before you know it :)
For me it doubles as pushing myself physically AND as a form of therapy, so it's hard to fall off. If I don't run in over 72 hours, I start to get easily agitated and depressed.
Don't stress about it too much. The horse will be waiting anytime you want to jump back on.
Just read your post and like your blog. Come on ... get to running and posting so I can read more!
